WebAppsToolBox

Small, sharp tools
for divers and their kit.

Six applications, each doing one job properly: keeping the records that breathing-air compressors, rebreathers, dive kit, dive sites and dive planning actually depend on — and keeping them somewhere you can reach from anywhere.

Nothing here is finished yet. All six applications are in active development and none is available to buy or download. This site exists so the plan is written down in public rather than living in a notebook. When something is ready to try, it will say so here first.

The six applications

Built in this order, because the first one shapes everything after it.

One account. Your data, wherever you are.

These are logbooks. A logbook that only exists on one device is a logbook you will eventually lose — so the design starts from the opposite end.

Sign in with an account you already have

Apple, Google or Microsoft. We never ask you to invent another password, and we never store one — there is nothing there to leak.

The same records on every device

Your entries live on the server, not in one browser. Open a different machine, or the phone in your pocket, and the log is the log.

Native apps are the plan, not an afterthought

Each application is being built API-first, so the iOS, iPadOS and Android versions are genuine native apps over the same data — not a website in a wrapper.

Built for one diver first

Every one of these started as something we needed ourselves. They get used in anger long before anyone is asked to pay for them.

Want to know when something ships?

There is no mailing list yet — that arrives with the first release. Until then the Support page is the place to ask, suggest a feature, or tell us we have the domain wrong.
